Bracelet in 14k yellow gold (585 thousandths) and platinum (950 thousandths) formed of 6 medallions, each adorned with a flat lacquer decoration known as “hira maki-e” gold and red on a shiny black background, enhanced with “nashiji” lacquer. One of the medallions bears on its face the signature of “Ippa” (並木監一波作, Namiki Kan Ippa), signature of master lacquerer Fukuju Takeshi.

The set resting on its very rare presentation base in carved zitan wood.

Zeng Yilu stands out as one of the pioneering figures of the Western painting movement in China. A classmate of Mao Zedong at the Hunan Normal School, he was also one of the founding members of this innovative movement.

The young girl was one of the favorite themes of the pioneer artist of Vietnamese modern art Mai Thu (1906-1980) throughout his career. It is a strong theme for the artists from the Indochina School of Fine Arts, who no longer focus only on representing subjects taken from the myths, religious or historical of their country, but who emphasize the human figure, and in particular the female figure.

TRAN PHUC DUYEN (1923-1993),

Born into a wealthy family, Tran Phuc Duyen (1923-1993) studied at the Indochina School of Fine Arts and specialized in lacquerware. He moved to France in 1954 to study at the School of Fine Arts, developing his reputation and career between the East and the West. His talent in this field was nevertheless recognized early in his career, since a screen painted by Tran Phuc Duyen was offered by the Vietnamese government to Pope Pius XII on the occasion of the Holy Year in 1950, thus increasing his reputation among the general public. Initially figurative and decorative, his art evolved towards minimalist abstraction, elevating Vietnamese lacquerware to the rank of major art.

CHINA, Qianlong period, 18th century Rare imperial chest in nanmu Quadrangular in shape, the panels presenting a rich and delicate decoration carved in relief of dragons with long sinuous bodies and clawed legs, represented in the process of chasing the sacred pearl in the teeming clouds, the latter taking the form of mushrooms of immortality called "lingzhi". JAPAN, Meiji period, late 19th century, Rare and elegant silver and shibayama dish, Circular in shape with polylobed border, presenting in the central medallion an elegant decoration in mother-of-pearl inlays, tinted ivory and hard stones, technique called "shibayama" standing out on a gold lacquer representing a rooster on its perch near a flower vase and a pair of quails. The border formed of twelve radiating petals, alternating petals with filigree decoration and polychrome enamels of lotus flowers, and others in ivory veneer and shibayama decoration of birds among flowering branches.
Signed Yoshiaki around the edge in a cartouche.

JAPAN, Meiji period, Cloisonné enamel dish, Namikawa SOSUKE (1847-1910), Square in shape with rounded edge, featuring a polychrome enamel decoration of three wild geese flying in the moonlight, the scene bordered by a frieze of plant motifs. A decoration of peony flowers and butterfly surrounded by interlacing and geometric motifs on the reverse. Signed Kinzan and Kinzan stamp lower right.

CHINA, 18th century. A very rare pair of ‘qianjin’ and ‘tianqi’ lacquered wood armchairs. The oval-shaped seats rest on four slightly inward-curving legs, the backs connected to the armrests, the whole decorated with openwork in the form of intertwined ruyi heads. The whole piece is adorned with a delicate black, ochre and green decoration on a brown background using the ‘tianqi’ lacquer technique, incised and enhanced with gold using the ‘qianjin’ technique, with a decoration of lotus scrolls and bats on the borders, Symmetrical decoration of two monogriff dragons facing each other around a flower in a ruyi motif in the centre and lotus on a lotus scroll background on the seat, a frieze of Grecians on the underside.

CHINA, Qing Dynasty, Reign of Emperor Qianlong, 18th century Rare and important commemorative panel. Rectangular in shape, consisting in the central part of a blue lacquered wooden panel, presenting the auspicious symbol "Fú" (福), designating "Happiness", in relief and gilded in its center. This piece is one of the rare blessing panels of the Qianlong Emperor that has survived. Every year, around New Year's Day, the Emperor offered his blessing to his ministers in charge of the interior and exterior of the Empire to thank them for their services. After receiving the “Fu” blessing, the officials had to respond to the emperor to thank him for his kindness.

​CHINA, Qing Dynasty, 18th century Rare gilt bronze and cloisonné enamel incense burner The circular body resting on three feet decorated with chimera heads, the body presenting an elegant decoration of taotie masks in leaf-shaped cartouches, a lotus frieze on the shoulder and the lid flanked by two grips in the form of qilong dragons. The rounded gilt bronze knob is decorated with foliate scrolls.

CHINA, 18th century Rare and important carved celadon jade group Taking the form of a rock in which is nestled the Arhat Ajita meditating, holding in one hand his staff and a prayer book, in the other a rosary. The rock is planted with many pine branches. The other side is richly decorated with a landscape of two deer moving among bread. The celadon-coloured stone is delicately veined with rust.

CHINA, Qing Dynasty, 18th century Rare porcelain vase of baluster form, with arched base, elongated body and swollen shoulder, decorated in polychrome enamels in the "doucai" style with dragons with sinuous bodies moving among abundant lotus branches. The foot and shoulder are decorated with ruyi, and the shoulder is flanked by two grips in the form of chimera heads with rings. Mounted on a European bronze frame with old lamp mounting. ​

CHINA, Yongzheng mark and period Extremely rare blue-glazed "robin's egg" mallet vase. Elegantly proportioned and tapering towards the base, it has a broad, angular shoulder crowned by a cylindrical neck. It is glazed in a luminous turquoise-blue opaque glaze with purple-brown streaks.

CHINA, Qianlong brand. Important porcelain vase “Meiping” shape, arched base, high swollen shoulder and short neck flared at the opening. The white glaze underside has a Qianlong mark, with six characters in zhuanshu reading “Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi” and in cobalt blue.

Important pair of “gu” cone vases with five-color Wucai decoration of outdoor characters in the upper part, the swollen central part is decorated with a decoration of a hundred children, in the lower part rocks and flowering branches. In the so-called “tianqiuping” shape, with a wide, globular body and long straight neck, presenting a decoration in polychrome enamels of two dragons with five claws in the clouds and above the waves on a turquoise background, with a European gilded bronze mount, attributed to the productions from the Marnyhac house. In the style of Miyao Eisuke's productions. Important incense burner in partially gilded bronze taking the form of the giant Benkei seated, one leg resting on the ground, the other with the knee raised, lifting the incense burner with both arms. Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912)

Iron samurai helmet called “kabuto”, the bomb with eight strips of iron and nails, the shikoro in lacquered metal with two strips connected by cords of green and orange silk, the fukigaeshi decorated with decorative fabric and Mon belonging to the Tokugawa clan. Signature inside the bomb.

China 19th century, very rare carved wooden armchair, perhaps zitan, with openwork dragon with five claws in the clouds on the back, the armrests decorated with clouds, the belt with the same decoration, all resting on four curved legs.

CHINA, marked and Jiajing period, dish featuring a cobalt blue underglaze decoration in reserve on a monochrome yellow ground. The central medallion features two gardenia flowers accompanied by their branches, foliage and buds. The white base features the Jiajing era mark (1522-1566) in six cobalt blue characters, framed by a double circle.

CHINA, Qianlong period, 18th century, polychrome porcelain wall vase. Rectangular in cross-section, fully enameled in a style reminiscent of sgraffito and embellished with polychrome foliage and flowers. The openwork base, imitating a pedestal, is enameled in coral and gold lacquer. In the center is a cartouche containing an imperial poem composed by the Qianlong emperor in 1742 and included in the Qianlong yuzhi shiji (Qianlong imperial compositions) praising the beauty of the present vase.

Under the base, a gold-enameled six-character mark reading: da qing Qianlong nian zhi.

CHINA, statuette in gilded bronze, depicting Buddha seated in dhyanasana meditation, right hand in abhaya mudra, left hand resting on left knee. A long robe with delicate folds is held by a belt tied around the torso, the face presents a serene expression, the ears with stretched lobes, the hair gathered in bunches and gathered around the ushnisha.

CHINA, Northern Qi period, circa 550-577 A.D. Important stele in white marble with a slightly ochre patina, sculpted with a Bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana in a niche surmounted by an arcature-shaped lintel supported by two hexagonal columns with lotiform capitals and bases. The deity, adorned with scarves and jewels, is wearing a high bun encased in a diadem. Her right hand, resting on the hollows of her legs, holds a lotus bud or the sacred jewel. H. 53 cm - L. 46 cm.
